The Northwest Community Technology Center (NCTC) holds orientation for new members on Wednesdays from 3:30 to 5:00 pm. At Orientation the rules of the NFRC are explained as well as a brief overview of the equipment. Email accounts will be provided free of charge, and instruction on how to log on to the internet given. New members will be required to fill out the requisite paper work before they are issued an NCTC ID card. Anyone wanting to use the NCTC must have his/her own card.

Internet: The NCTC can provide you with DSL hookup to the internet. This means that you will be able to surf at an incredibly high rate of speed.

Email: A free email account will be set up for you at orientation.

Scanner: A color scanner is provided.

Printing: The laser and a color printer are provided so that you can print items of interest from the internet or other projects you are working on.

Software Programs: Our computers contain a variety of programs including: Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Printshop, Adobe Photo Deluxe, Mavis Beacon, etc.

Learning More: If you want to learn more about the computer, or how to use some of our programs a free Computer Class is offered Wednesday nights from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. Call 372-2812 to register.

Fax: Members of NCTC are provided with free access to its fax. Sorry, outgoing faxes only.

Copier: NCTC provides a copier for member use. There is a limit of 5 copies per document or item.
