Vision

All residents in Scioto County will know of the Scioto County ABLE Program and access the services as needed.  The students will enjoy learning in a safe and convenient location.

The mission of Scioto County ABLE is to provide adults with an educationally stimulating environment.  Each student can expect to be treated with respect and to grow in the role as learner, family member, community member, and worker.

Scioto County ABLE provides Adult Educational Services to rural Scioto County in the areas of: Adult Basic Literacy, Family Literacy, GED, Work Readiness, Job Training, and Computer Training.

Our ABLE classes involve individual instruction and a variety of teaching methods designed to help further your education.

Among those who we count as students are: GED, nursing school candidates, and people requiring further education in order to get into college, or for job training.

We hold classes at varying times in several different locations around Scioto County.
